Germany’s famed Nurburgring circuit is used by all European manufacturers for high-speed testing and Nissan has logged countless laps developing the GT-R.
Now comes some pics and videos of Chevrolet putting the latest Corvette Stingray sports car through its paces at Nurburgring ahead of European sales launch in a few months.
“Nurburgring is renowned for its demanding race track and it is perfectly suited for our purpose which is to fine-tune the ride and handling characteristics of the European Corvette Stingray,” explained GM’s vehicle dynamics engineers Jim Mero.
American media drives suggest the awesome Corvette might surprise the big-name Europeans with a speedy lap time around the Nurburgring.
