There could be an SUV version of the Citroen DS in the pipeline if this concept car is anything to go by.
It’s called the ‘DS Wild Rubis’ and it will be unveiled next week at the Shanghai Motor Show.
As the logical extension to Citroen’s new styling ‘mantra’ – as seen in the DS3, DS4 and DS5, the SUV version seems a certainty.
Measuring 4.7-metres in length and standing 1.59-metres in height, the Citroen DS Wild Rubis rides on massive 21-inch wheels and employs a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
An interesting innovation at the front with the Citroen Wild Rubis featuring tuning-fork shaped highlight edges for the full-LED headlights and scrolling indicator lights – should be quite a show when turning at night! Rear lights are housed in chrome mounts for a jewel-like appearance.
