Citroen has revamped its stylish C5 mid-size sedan and wagon for 2012.
Headlining the changes is a new turbocharged 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine good for 115kW of power. The new petrol powerplant – one of the joint Citroen-BMW engine family - joins Citroen C5’s existing turbo-diesel engines - the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder with 120kW of power and the 177kW 3.0-litre V6.
Arrival of the 1.6-litre powered C5 has enabled Citroen Australia to lower the entry price by $2,000 to $35,990.
Citroen offers the C5 is three equipment levels – ‘Attraction’, ‘Seduction’ and ‘Exclusive’.
