Citroen’s all-new DS5 has aced the stunning Lamborghini Aventador to win the Car Design of the Year Award from ‘Car Design News’.
Not bad considering you could buy about eight DS5s for the price of an Aventador.
‘Car Design News’ handed-out the award last week at the Geneva Motor Show. Judged by around 4,000 automotive design professionals, the Citroen DS5 took out the title for production cars.
Handing out the 2012 award, Car Design News Editor, Owen Ready, said: “The Car Design News Car Design Of The Year Award is voted for by car design professionals making this a rare opportunity for those in the industry to show their appreciation for the work of their peers. It’s easy to see why Citroen DS5’s design attracted alkmost a quarter of the votes in the production car category. The Citroen CS5 arrives in Australia mid-year.
