For 2010, French brand Citroen has revised its C4 Picasso people mover – now available in just one, generously equipped model, powered by a 100kw turbo-diesel engine and priced at $45,990.

The C4 Picasso brings French flair to the seven-seat people mover segment with its cute, contemporary styling and light, airy cabin. A key to the Picasso’s looks and interior brightness is the abundant glasshouse – including the largest windscreen in the segment. 

Boasting a maximum five-star Euro NCP safety rating, Citroen says the C4 Picasso is the most fuel-efficient seven-seater in Australia with the 2010 turbo-diesel model rated at 6.0l/100kms. Exhaust emissions are also low at 153g/km.

The 2010 Picasso drives through Citroen’s new six-speed EGS automatic transmission.

It’s quite compact (Picasso shares its chassis platform with the C4 model) which means easy maneuvering and parking in urban conditions.

Inside is the flexibility needed by families. There are seven individual seats with the second and third rows offering slide functions for increased versatility.

Family-friendly features include a drinks cooler in the dashboard, side window blinds, picnic tables for the second-row occupants, under-floor lockers, front and rear power outlets and even a rechargeable torch in the boot.

Load space is also impressive – almost two cubic metres with the seats folded.

Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control and ABS anti-lock brakes are among the standard safety features.
