In a widely anticipated switch, Chrysler Australia will take-over local distribution of Alfa Romeo and Fiat vehicles from 1 May.

Fiat has owned Chrysler since a global partnership was formed in 2009, however until now local distribution of the Alfa Romeo and Fiat brands has been owned by Ateco Automotive (also the Australian distributor of Ferrari, Maserati and Great Wall).

Australia’s 17 passenger car and 22 commercial vehicle dealers currently selling Fiat and Alfa Romeo products will report to Chrysler Australia (based in Melbourne).
