In Europe, BMW has announced a new price leader for its excellent X3 SUV range – the rear-wheel-drive sDrive 18d.

Power comes from BMW’s 105kW/360Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel driving through either a six-speed manual transmission or the excellent eight-speed automatic.

BMW says with combined cycle fuel consumption as low as 5.1l/100kms and exhaust C02 emissions of 135g/km (both for the manual), the X3 sdrive 18d is the cleanest and most fuel-efficient X3 model.
