First details have emerged in Europe on BMW’s updated 2015 1 Series lineup.
Most obvious is the freshened styling – the revised front and rear ends and broader side skirts delivering a more upscale look for BMW’s compact coupe and hatchback.
Inside are some minor trim and centre console changes.
The regular models will again be powered by a ix of three and four-cylinder models – the highlight being the new 85kW/270Nm 1.5-litre turbo-diesel for the 116d.
For the stonking M135i, the turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine jumps to 240kW/450Nm.
Expect the updated BMW 1 Series in Australia later this year but local specifications and prices are yet to be finalised.
