One of the world’s most desirable high performance sedans, the all-new BMW M5, will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Powered by a new, high-revving twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering 412kW/680Nm via a seven-speed M double-clutch seven-speed Drivelogic transmission and Active M differential, the new BMW M5 is not only a technical masterpiece, it’s also 30 per cent more fuel-efficient than the current model with combined cycle consumption down to 9.9l/100kms.
Also new to the BMW 5 Series range in Frankfurt is the 520d EfficientDynamics Edition – good for 135kW and fuel consumption of just 4.5l/100kms. New four-cylinder petrol engines with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology debut for the BMW 520i and BMW 528i.
BMW will also unveil its second generation 1 Series with enhanced interior space and more technology.
And the X1 compact SUV highlights the sDrive20d Efficient Dynamics Edition with remarkable fuel consumption of just 4.5l/100kms from its 120kW diesel engine.
For the Z4 Roadster BMW will unveil two new 2.0-litre engines with 135kW and 180kW.
