Bentley has partnered with British design company Linley to produce 19 limited edition Continental Flying Spurs for exclusive sale in China.
In fact China is now Bentley’s largest four-door market and – as requested by the customers - each of the Linley special edition models have a Linley cigar humidor fitted to the unique rear console.
The limited edition Continental Flying Spurs gain Linley veneers in Santos rosewood for the fascia, waistrail and roof console, covering the entire timber surfaces which, in regular Bentleys, are chestnut or walnut. Linley affixes its iconic Helix motif in a marquetry inlay in the waistrails and picnic table.
Stainless steel is used for the Linley-branded treadplates and glovebox plaque. Fluting on the seats and door storage pockets is in burnt oak contrast stitching.
In the boot, owners will find a Linley leather bag, leather luggage tag and cashmere blanket.
Unveiling the limited edition Linley Bentley at Jack Barclay, the Bentley dealer in London’s Berkeley Square, Bentley’s Christine Gaskell said: “Our collaboration with Linley brings a new element to the interior of one of our globally best-selling models. The Continental Flying Spur has a unique executive style and elegance which is complemented wonderfully by the Linley veneers. We share an expertise in the use of natural materials and a commitment to superlative craftsmanship.”
