Toyota has confirmed the all-new, larger Prius c city car concept will headline its display at Melbourne’s Australian International Motor Show in July.
If consumer interest is high, Toyota says the new model could be added to its existing hatchback version to form a two-size Prius range.
Toyota North America will launch the Prius c in production form during the first half of 2012.
The key feature of Toyota Prius c is its extra space – it combines family-friendly practicality with the ‘green’ credentials of hybrid power.
“This car has the core Prius values based on Toyota’s proven Hybrid Synergy Drive technology – strong performance, great fuel economy and ultra-low emissions,” explained Toyota Australia chief David Buttner.
