Audi has brought much of its motor sport technology into play with its new two-seat Urban Concept.
With a carbon fibre reinforced plastic cockpit, sleek aerodynamics and ultra-light weight, Audi says the all-electric concept is designed for congested, confined urban spaces.
Wheels (21-inch) are free-standing with protective plates which also contain ‘blinking’ strips of LED lights.
Like a race car, the driver adjusts the pedals and steering wheel to personal tastes. The single passenger is located in a staggered position and entry to the forward-looking concept is actually from the rear tailgate.
Power comes from two Audi e-tron electric motors powered by lithium-ion batteries.
