This gorgeous stretched-roof coupe is the Audi ‘prologue Avant’ and it’s already the star of the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Measuring 5.11-metres in length and 1.97-metres in width Audi says the evocatively styled five-door coupe-wagon hints at its future design language.
The car to be unveiled in Geneva is an update of the one shown late last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Inside is a technology tour-de-force with the dashboard harnessing three touchscreens while the rear sees two detachable OLED displays (as seen in the all-new Audi Q7). These provide digital communication and on-demand information and entertainment.
Power comes from an updated version of the plug-in hybrid drive from the Audi Q7 e-tron – a 3.0 TDI turbo-diesel engine and electric motor combination which provides 335kW of power, zero to 100km/h in 5.1 seconds and a pure electric range of 54kms.
Underneath is the latest version of Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system and adaptive air suspension.
