Audi’s mighty biturbo V6 diesel, bred from international endurance racing, has now arrived in Australia – powering new A6 and A7 models.
With 650Nm of torque on-tap, from as low as 1450rpm, the 3.0-litre V6 powers the A6 sedan from zero to 100km/h in just 5.1 seconds while the A7 Sportback is just a tad slower at 5.3 seconds. Fuel consumption is as low as 6.4l/100kms.
The Audi A6 V6 Birturbo starts at $118,800 and the glorious A7 Sportback is listed at $148,600.
Specifications are as impressive as the powerplant with the A6 sedan running 18-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels, Milano leather upholstery, BOSE audio, the Audi parking system with rear-view camera, Xenon plus headlights and an electric glass sunroof.
For the Audi A7 Sportback with V6 Biturbo power you can chalk-up 19-inch alloys, front and rear cameras and Valcona leather inside.
