In Europe, Audi has introduced a new entry-level 3.0 TDI version of its Q7 SUV.
The luxo seven-seater is powered by a 150kW/450Nm version of the 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine (as fitted to the Audi A6). Currently Audi Australia’s entry-level Q7, stickered at $88,614 and its similar 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel runs 176kW/550Nm.
At the same time, Audi has launched in Europe a range-topping model line for the Q7 called S Line Plus. Included in the extras are 21-inch alloy wheels, Verano leather seats, hard-disc satellite navigation with Google earth mapping, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Audi Parking System Advanced with a reversing camera and a power tailgate.
No word yet from Audi Australia about local plans for the latest Q7 updates.
