Audi Australia has launched two new limited edition models – the RS 5 Coupe Limited Edition and R8 Carbon Edition. They join Audi’s other Limited Edition stunner – the TT RS Stronic which was unveiled at the Australian International Motor Show (Melbourne).
The Audi RS 5 Coupe Limited Edition is powered by Audi’s 331kW/430Nm, 4.2-litre FSI V8 engine driving through the seven-speed Stronic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Exclusive additions for the Limited Edition RS 5 Coupe include a black exterior styling upgrade, 20-inch titanium finish Rotor alloy wheels, a sports exhaust system, panoramic glass sunroof and Bang & Olufsen audio. RS sports seats are options.
Simultaneously Audi has introduced a Sport Suspension Plus system for the RS 5 which can be ordered for the Limited Edition model as well. The new suspension brings Dynamic Ride Control with three-mode driver-select settings.
The Audi RS 5 Coupe limited Edition carries no extra pricing (sticker is $175,300) but only 25 are coming to Australia in just three colours – Ibis White, Phantom Black and Suzuka Grey.
For the Audi R8 Carbon Edition, Australia’s allocation is limited to 10 vehicles (V8 or V10, Coupe or Spyder). Colours are Ibis White, Phantom Black, Suzuka Grey or Daytona Grey.
The Audi R8 Carbon Edition scores 19-inch titanium finish alloy wheels, carbon exterior kit including front spoiler and rear diffuser, carbon sideblade, carbon mirror housings and carbon door-sills.
All-up those extras would normally be priced at $38,100, but the Limited edition version carries a premium of only $10,900 above the specific R8 model’s regular retail price.
Audi Australia has secured 45 of the Limited Edition TT RS model which, for no extra cost, adds $8,460 worth of goodies. The list includes black exterior styling, metallic paint, 19-inch titanium finish alloy wheels, sports exhaust system, adaptive headlights, BOSE audio, more interior leather and LED interior lights.
