Scheduled for Australian introduction next April, Audi’s new A3 Sportback has been launched in Europe.
The five-door hatchback adopts Audi’s latest styling cues (most noticeable at the front) and inside boasts a modern A1-inspired interior with modern touches like the hallmark round air-vents.
In Europe, the Audi A3 Sportback is offered with two turbo-diesel engines (1.4-litre and 2.0-litre) and two TFSI petrol engines (1.4-litre and 1.8-litre). Outputs range from 77kW to 132kW.
A natural gas fuelled TCNG engine is in the pipeline.
Luggage capacity is 380-litres (rear seat in place) or 1220-litres (rear seat folded).
Audi Australia will announce the local lineup and prices closer to launch next year.
