American Honour For Kia Cerato
A favourite here at Car Showroom, the Kia Cerato sedan has been named 'Car Of The Year' by the North American publication NADAguides.com.
Known as the 'Forte' in North America, the stylish Kia compact sedan was honoured for its attractive styling, value and extensive list of class-leading features.
The NADAguides award focuses on low price point, cost of ownership, fuel efficiency and styling - the same attributes for which we reckon the Cerato scores highly.
Without doubt the Cerato - and its two-door sibling the Koup - highlight the enormous advances being made by Kia since former Volkswagen stylist Peter Schreyer took the helm of the company's design department.
Combine the Cerato's good looks, spacious interior, class-leading 2.0-litre powerplant and ultra-sharp pricing and the result is a standout small car.
'Not many cars can boast a full package when it comes to design features, price, performance and fuel economy, but the Forte (Cerato) leaves a lasting impression with all that and more,' revealed NADAguides' Michael Caudill.
