Volvo has launched the all-new S60 and V60 R-Design models and they’re due on-sale in Australia in the first half of 2011. 

Both target performance drivers with a much shaper appearance highlighted by glossy, piano black grilles and trim, twin exhaust pipes and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Inside are sportier R-Design leather seats, sports pedals and R-Design steering wheels and gear levers.

Underneath, the chassis has been completely overhauled for a more sporty driving dynamic. There’s an under-bonnet front strut brace, monotube rear dampers, shorter, stiffer springs, firmer bushes and Corner Traction Control has been added to the Dynamic Stability and Traction Control functionality. 

Volvo Australia will announce full local specifications and pricing closer to launch.
