This is the all-new Mini Clubman which has broken cover ahead of its official debut in a couple of months at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Longer and taller than its predecessor, the latest Mini Clubman incorporates the new styling of the current generation lineup and pleasingly retains its hallmark ‘barn’ rear doors.
Engine choices comprise: a 100kW/220Nm 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine for the base model Clubman, a 141kW/280Nm turbocharged 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine for the sport Clubman S model or a 110kW/320Nm 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel for the Clubman D.
Not everyone’s favourite in the styling department, we continue to be fans of the quirky Mini Clubman and the new model ramps-up the practicality with even more cargo space – 1250-litres with the rear seat folded or 36-litres when in-place.
