Not all European brands are currently focused on exhaust emissions – Mini has rolled-out the all-new Clubman model with a choice of six engines and, for the first time an available eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and four-cylinder turbo-diesel.

The four-cylinder turbo-diesel in 110kW form powers the Cooper D or you can get a 140kW version in the Cooper SD. An 85kW three-cylinder turbo-diesel propels the One D.

Turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engines are fitted to the One (75kW0 and Cooper (100kW).

And the range-topping Cooper S scores a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol, engine with 141kW on-tap.

Styling sees a fresh interpretation of the Clubman’s stretched silhouette with similar changes we’ve seen on the rest of the all-new Mini range.

At the front there are Air Curtains while behind the front wheelarches are Air Breathers.

And it’s a similar story inside.

Mini Australia will announce the local range and prices closer to launch.
