This rendering is all that we have to work from, but it is the starting point for Kia’s all-new 2+2 sports car which will bow at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
And so the speculation has commenced…
Front-wheel-drive, rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive?
Will it run the same naturally-aspirated 115kW/194Nm 2.0-litre engine as the current Cerato Koup or has Kia got something more tasty in mind?
Word is the design work has been done at Kia’s North American studios in California and as we can see from the rendering, the all-new sports car has nicely bulging wheelarches and a rear hatch.
Is this Kia’s answer to Hyundai’s Veloster or something more upscale?
All will be revealed in the countdown to Detroit.
