Details are scant (only these concept sketches are doing the rounds) but Kia has confirmed its all-new Kia sedan will debut in a couple of weeks at the New York Auto Show.
That will be five years exactly since the current exotically styled version debuted to widespread acclaim.
Since then, Kia’s mid-size sedan has sold well in Australia and has been a huge hit in North America.
No word yet on on-sale dates but of course a key rival, the all-new Ford Mondeo will be launched locally next month.
And of course the imminent end of the local Falcon/Commodore will put mid-size sedans squarely under the microscope.
