Hyundai’s excellent all-new Santa Fe scored 35.63 out of a possible 37 points to secure the maximum five-star safety rating from ANCAP.
Those points mean the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe – a Car Showroom favourite large SUV – actually scored the highest score in the segment. Toyota’s Prado is the next-best, followed by the Subaru Outback, Holden Captiva 7, Toyota Kluger, Kia Sorento and Ford Territory – all ranked at the highest possible five-star.
Other Hyundai vehicles ranked at the five-star level by ANCAP are: Veloster, Elantra, Accent, i20, i30, ix35 and i45.
