Hyundai has released these first photos of its all-new i10 compact model designed and developed in Europe, primarily for the European market.
Hyundai Australia is currently working on a business case for the compact hatchback for local sale.
Longer, wider and lower than the current generation i10, Hyundai’s newcomer also offers more leg-room and 10 per-cent more cargo capacity at 252-litres.
European specifications are very impressive for budget-priced compact cars with the Hyundai i10 equipped with a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, climate control air-conditioning and cruise control.
Underneath is an all-new chassis with 5mm extra wheelbase length and relocated rear dampers to improve ride and handling.
Designed and developed at the Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre in Russelsheim, Germany, the i30 will be the first A-segment Hyundai to be manufactured in Europe with production slated for the company’s plant in Izmit, Turkey.
Hyundai i10 will debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
