Honda has confirmed, its all-new European designed and engineered Civic will be manufactured at its British assembly plant in Swindon.
The ninth generation Honda Civic hatchback is scheduled to bow at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany ahead of European sales from early 2012.
Honda says the new Civic will provide increased passenger and cargo space plus even better ride and handling.
Honda will retain the Civic’s torsion-beam rear suspension (for maximum luggage space) but amongst the changes, the newcomer will run fluid-filled bushes.
Honda Australia is some way from finalizing its plans for the all-new Civic range.
