At Car Showroom, we don’t normally get too excited about museums, but in the case of Ferrari we’ll make an exception…
The Italian supercar legend will be enhanced on 10 March when an all-new Ferrari museum opens in Italy.
Ferrari’s latest homage to its founder Enzo Ferrari cost a cool €18-million and is built around his home in the city of Modena. Both the living quarters and workshop where it all started have been preserved over the years, but the latest new building is a modern design which is finished in the hallmark Ferrari yellow (also the colour of the symbol of Modena).
A series of launch events are planned from 18 February (Enzo Ferrari’s birthday in 1898).
Together with Ferrari’s Marzaglia race circuit, Galleria Ferrari Museum in Maranello and the Righini and Panini e Stanguellini Collections, the latest Ferrari museum adds to the so-called ‘Supercar Valley’ which draws car enthusiasts to this part of Italy.
