Alfa Romeo’s new entry level small car – the MiTo goes on sale next month.
MiTo (from Milan and Torino, Alfa Romeo’s two home towns in Italy) brings legendary Alfa Romeo style to the compact segment – it’s a glorious, contemporary coupe.
Alfa Romeo will launch the car in Australia in two levels of specification – ‘luxury’ and ‘sports’.
There will be a choice of two turbocharged engines, six-speed transmissions, Alfa Romeo’s adjustable ‘DNA’ system - which adjusts the car’s on-road behavior - and the Q2 Electronic Differential.
Alfa Romeo claims zero to 100km/h takes just 8.0 seconds so the MiTo will certainly bring real performance to the compact segment – just as you’d expect from the Italian brand.
Even though it’s a compact, Alfa Romeo says MiTo buyers won’t be short-changed in Alfa Romeo’s style and aesthetics.
Mito is priced from $31,490 for the base model, whilst the range topping Sport model comes in at $37,490
