Maxing-out the cuteness stakes, the miraculous 117kW Abarth 500 Esseesse is proving to be so popular the first shipment has sold out even before customers know the exact purchase price.
But don’t despair, despite continuing outrageous demand for the pocket-rocket in Europe, Abarth Australia says future shipments are on the way.
The Car Showroom team (boys and girls!) is keen to get its hands on the gorgeous Abarth which covers the standing 100km/h in just 7.4 seconds.
“The Abarth 500’s Australian arrival was delayed by demand in Europe, which meant that there was already pent-up demand here. The announcement that we would launch with the rare, high performance Esseesse version sent an extra rush of people to our dealerships wanting to be amongst the first on the road in an Abarth 500,” explained Andrei Zaitzev, general manager for Abarth in Australia.
