Just 30 cars on offer, with sharp deals until the end of June.

2018 Abarth 124 Spider - Monza Special Edition

Specialist Italian performance brand Abarth has a long, hallowed history. Its name comes from its founder, Carlo Abarth, an Italian racing driver who enjoyed a sterling career and several records. In 1956, he notably took the 24-hour record around the Monza circuit, averaging 155km/h over the 3743km race, where he was piloting a Fiat Abarth 750.

“The legacy of Carlo Abarth has driven the production of some of the world’s most exciting motor vehicles, and this Monza Special Edition continues the realisation of his passion. At home on urban roads as well as race tracks, the Abarth 124 Spider combines the authentic roadster experience with exemplary performance, technology, safety, and distinctive Italian design.” — Fulvio Antonelli, Brand Director (Australia), Abarth

Through June, 30 special-edition Abarth 124 Spider Monza roadsters will be offered, priced from $46,950 drive-away for manual cars, and $48,950 drive-away for an automatic model. Prices will rise $900 each should those 30 cars not be sold out by the end of June, and won’t include on-road costs.

2018 Abarth 124 Spider - Monza Special Edition

Being a special edition, the 124 Monza includes various little upgrades. For starters, the special edition will only be available in white, red, or black, to celebrate the victories that Abarth has nabbed in the European rally championships. The car is then dressed up further with gloss-read mirror covers, and auto-levelling LED headlights, replete with LED daytime running lights. You’ll also spot the four exhaust pipes as part of the Record Monza exhaust system, with a mechanical valve that allows you to

Safety is covered with parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring. Cabin appointments include things like two-tone red/black leather upholstery, replete with embroidered headrests, as well as limited-edition build plates in aluminium, including a laser-etched map of Monza.

The Abarth 124 Spider is a car that we rate rather highly, for its wide breadth of ability and immense levels of sheer cool. This Monza special edition might just be the best deal you can get on a new one, plus you get to brag that you have one of just 30. With drive-away deals until the end of June, we’d suggest you hurry.
