Hyundai has rocked the automotive industry to its core with the announcement of Lifetime Capped Price servicing for every Hyundai sold in Australia since the brand launched here back in 1986.

The program caps the prices of all scheduled services for the entire life of every Hyundai vehicle in Australia and is effective from 1 September.

As part of Lifetime Capped Price Servicing, Hyundai’s Roadside Assist service has been extended from seven to 10 years.

So if you have a Hyundai, regardless of its age or kilometers covered, you will be able to look up the maximum price you will pay for a scheduled service at a participating dealer and that price will be identical in any dealership.

If you’re currently part of Hyundai’s previous three-year capped price servicing scheme, you will remain under that scheme with no cost penalty and at the end of the three years you will be able to take advantage of the lifetime offer.

Launch of Hyundai’s Lifetime Capped Price Servicing coincides with the launch of an on-line service booking system with a dealer-specific website enabling Hyundai owners to book a service time, loan car and even their preferred service advisor.

“Ultimately servicing a car is an inconvenience – there’s no getting away from that,” explained Hyundai Australia chief John Elsworth. “But with capped service prices for life, which are transparent and easy to see, and a new online service booking system, we hope to reduce that inconvenience as much as possible.”
