BMW’s 3 Series GT (Gran Turismo) goes on-sale on 1 September, priced from $69,500.
Boasting a 110mm longer wheelbase, elevated seating position are cargo space up to 1600-litres, the 3 Series GT delivers much more family-friendly space…but retains the hallmark top-shelf driving dynamics.
Part of the driving dynamics story is an active rear spoiler which deploys at speeds upwards of 110km/h and an aerodynamic flat underbody.
The 3 Series GT is 80mm taller and 20mm wider than the regular models and scores unique bumpers and front grille designs.
No changes under the bonnet – 320i (135kW/270Nm), 328i (180kW/350Nm) and 320d (135kW/380Nm) and all drive via BMW’s superb eight-speed automatic transmission.
And like the rst of the 3 series lineup, the GT version will be available in ‘Modern’, ‘Luxury’ and ‘Sport’ lines.
