MINI has confirmed a $58,690 for the high performance John Cooper Works (JCW) Paceman which goes on-sale in May.
The racy all-wheel-drive three-door MINI Paceman enjoys 160kW/300Nm from its turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine. Drive is to all four wheels (normally split 50/50) via six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
Zero to 100km/h takes 6.9 seconds and fuel consumption is as low as 8.0l/100kms.
Underneath are 18-inch twin spoke alloy wheels, sports-tuned suspension and things get edgy when you press the ‘Sport’ button which tweaks engine, steering and transmission responses.
Inside the MINI JCW Paceman runs leather/cloth trim, a JCW leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, Anthracite roof lining and instruments, piano black trim and a Harman/Kardon audio system.
On the outside, as well as those sporty 18-inch wheels, the JCW Paceman features and aero kit and Bi-xenon headlights.
Australian MINI customers have the world’s highest take-up of the sporty JCW range.
