Nissan has been buoyed by a maximum five-star safety score for its all-new Altima mid-size sedan after the latest barrier test from the North American NCAP.
The Altima is a product of Nissan North America but is headed ‘Downunder’ both as the company’s all-new mid-size sedan and also the badge under which the Japanese giant will debut in V8 Supercar racing next year.
North American market versions of the Altima come equipped with items like the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System and roof-mountain curtain side-impact supplemental airbags. Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning are amongst the high-tech items on the options list.
Look for the all-new Nissan Altima to arrive in local showrooms around the middle of next year.
