BMW’s latest 3 Series model has scored the maximum 5-Star safety rating following the latest round of barrier testing by Euro NCAP.
The seventh generation BMW 3 Series garnered the 5-star rating in accordance with the toughened 2012 Euro NCAP protocols which also take into account pedestrian protection.
In addition the BMW 3 Series achieved high marks for child safety which studies three year old and one and a half year old children.
Other BMW models carrying the maximum 5-star rating from Euro NCAP include the X1, 5 Series, X3 and 1 Series.
