According to reports out of North America Tesla is scheduled to unveil the 2017 Model 3 at the 2016 New York Motor Show.
The Model 3 will be an entry level vehicle capable of travelling 320 kilometers on a single charge with full blown production kicking off in 2017.
The rumored price point is $35,000 USD which means we could see the Tesla Model 3 on-sale in Australia for around $60,000
Another suggestion circling the web is that the Model 3 may also include a wagon.
Do you think that a cheaper price point will be enough to convert traditional fuel buyers across to electric cars? Could the Model 3 allow Tesla to reach a bigger audience?
