Good news Subaru fans – there’s a high performance wagon coming to fill the shoes of the much-loved Liberty GT wagon.
It’s the acclaimed Levorg sports tourer but it won’t her until mid next year.
Subaru says the Levorg’s contemporary design means despite its external dimensions being close to the Liberty GT wagon, interior space is much better.
“The factory has been extremely supportive in helping us secure the Levorg for the Australian market,” revealed Subaru Australia chief Nick Senior. “It will appeal to those fourth generation Liberty GT buyers who have been starved of a logical successor but we believe it will also attract a much wider audience because of its performance, its versatility, it refinement and its high level of standard equiupment.”
While Subaru will announce more details on the Levorg closer to launch we’re told some limited edition models will keep its impressive lineup fresh for the rest of this year and into 2016.
