Local details and indicative pricing for the Mazda CX-9 have been leaked online ahead of the SUVs local launch.
Mazda Australia thought it had kept local details of its soon-to-launch CX-9 tightly under wraps. But, last night, CarShowroom was sent documents outlining indicative pricing and details for the four variant line-up.
According to the leaked internal-use document the Mazda CX-9 will be powered by one engine only, a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine making 170kW at 5000rpm and 420Nm at 2000rpm. This will be mated to a six-speed automatic and will be offered with both manual shift and Sport mode.
Fuel consumption is a claimed 8.4L/100km (FWD) and 8.8L/100km (AWD). It will be offered with the usual Mazda colours as well as the new Machine Grey that made its debut on MX-5.
