Normally Pebble Beach and its neighbor Cypress Point are amongst the most exclusive golf courses in the world but the annual Concours d’ Elegance sees motoring enthusiasts and exotic cars take-over.
Appropriately Lexus chose this glamorous location to unveil the all-new LX 570 luxury SUV which is set to arrive in Australia around December.
The Lexus LX 570 receives massive changes – only the roof and four door panels carry-over from the current model.
Highlights include an eight-speed automatic transmission, Drive Mode Select (tailored powertrain and suspension responses), new-design 20-inch and 21-inch alloy wheels, a completely re-done interior featuring a new multimedia system with a 21.3-inch screen and Remote Touch Interface, head-up display, Panoramic View Monitor, wood-trimmed steering wheel, blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert, larger 11.6-inch screens for the rear seat entertainment system, touch-sensor overhead lighting and LED ambient interior lighting.
On the styling front, the Lexus LS 570 looks remarkable different thanks to a re-styled front end featuring the hallmark Lexus ‘spindle grille’, LED headlights and a revised rear end with new lights and bumper.
Lexus will reveal full local specifications and prices closer to launch.
