Ford Australia has released the 2016 Ford Focus RS pricing and basic specification for Australian buyers.
Due to arrive in Australian showrooms from mid-2016 the 2016 Ford Focus RS will be priced from $50,990. Buyers can add optional 19-inch performance tyre pack for $2 and prestige paint is an additional $450.
Powered by a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine the 2016 Ford Focus RS develops 257 kW @ 6,000 rpm and 440 Nm between 1,600 and 5,000 rpm.
. Drive is to all-wheel-drive with dynamic torque vectoring and selectable drive modes.

“Delivering a car like the Focus RS is also the result of the enormous R&D investment the brand puts into its vehicles. In Australia alone, we’re investing more than $300 million in R&D this year, bringing our total R & D investment to almost $2 billion over the past six years.”
Making the 2016 Ford Focus RS standout from the crowd are design features include front fascia and grille, rear fascia with large diffuser element including twin exhaust outlets, front and rear spoilers to deliver balanced aerodynamics and 19-inch multi-spoke RS alloy wheels
Inside RS buyers will be greeted with Signature RS-branded Recaro shell seats, flat-base sports steering, binnacle gauges displaying turbocharger boost pressure, oil temperature and oil pressure, alloy foot pedal, and blue RS stitching on the seats, steering wheel, floor mats and interior trim.
