First seen at the 2014 Paris Moto Show Suzuki Australia has launched the all-new 2015 Suzuki Vitara in Melbourne today.
Powered by a 1.6 litre petrol engine that produces 88kW @ 6000rpm and 156Nm @ 4,400rpm with a fuel consumption in the manual 2WD RT-S variant coming in at a low 5.8L for the 2WD manual. The RT-X 4x4 model has a claimed fuel consumption figure of 6.3 litres per 100km.
The Suzuki Vitara will be available in two model grades with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or 6-Speed automatic transmission.

Suzuki is offering a launch drive away special for the 2015 Suzuki Vitara RT-S priced at $22,990 (6-speed Manual) or $24,990 (6-Speed auto).
Suzuki's General Manager of Automobiles Andrew Moore told CarShowroom.com.au “With the Vitara RT-S high spec level and Drive Away value, it will go high on the shopping list for anybody considering a new compact passenger vehicle or compact SUV”
“Vitara has better fuel economy than Australia’s two best-selling small hatches and loads more style and space, so I am confident we will have a significant number of customers cross-over from the small car segment” said Moore.
