Updated versions of Nissan’s hip Juke compact SUV are currently arriving in dealerships.
With a freshened look, extra features, a new engine and more interior space, the made-in-England Nissan Juke is now an even better all-round package.
Headlining the changes is the introduction of a new turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine (sourced from sister company Renault) for the entry-level Juke ST manual model. With 85kW/190Nm on-tap, Nissan Juke’s new 1.2-litre powerplant returns combined-cycle fuel consumption of 5.6l/100kms.
Juke ST with the Xtronic CVT automatic transmission employs a naturally aspirated 1.6-litre petrol engine with 86kW/158Nm.
Meanwhile the turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine for Juke Ti-S 2WD manual (140kW/240Nm) has been improved to deliver more torque below 2,000rpm.
On the styling front, Nissan Juke’s already attention-turning front-end sees new headlights and a revised grille while door mirrors incorporate turn signals and you’ll notice a new rear bumper.
There are also new wheel designs (17-inch alloys now available on all model grades) and three new paint colours.
Range-topping Nissan Juke Ti-S adds an improved NissanConnect telematics system.
And two-wheel-drive models score a re-jigged luggage compartment with 40 per-cent greater capacity at 354-litres.
The new lineup looks like this:
| Juke ST 2WD manual (1.2T 85kW/190Nm) | $23,490 |
| Juke ST 2WD Xtronic (1.6 85kW/158Nm) | $24,490 |
| Juke Ti-S 2WD manual (1.6 DDT 140kW/240Nm) | $29,790 |
