Nissan’s updated supercar coupe is now on-sale in Japan and slated to launch in Australia early next year.
Interestingly Nissan says changes for the 2015 GT-R were aimed at refinement – a quieter, more luxurious cabin thanks to significantly reduced NVH.
Details include modified damper rates and ECU changes to improve cornering stability, changed tyre construction to improve straight-line tracking, brake modifications and new pad material to improve feel and reduce noise, changes to the transaxle and driveshaft to reduce backlash noise and even new boot carpet to provide extra insulation.
On the styling front, the Nissan GT-R Premium Edition scores Rays double-spoke alloy wheels in ‘Hyper Blue Black chrome colour coat.
For volume production high performance cars the Nissan GT-R remains a global benchmark and we’re counting down the days until we get to drive the 2015 model.
