Ahead of the 2015 launch for the Jeep Renegade, Jeep America have shown a quick video of the he Trailhawk model tackling some hardcore 4x4 tracks.
Unlike most compact SUVs the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk can actually go off road and continues the Jeep tradition of offering all cars with serious 4x4 ability.
Buyers can expect the All-New 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk to ship with the same 2.4L Tigershark engine nine-speed automatic transmission as found the Jeep Cherokee. Other items include Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 system with 20:1 crawl ratio, a 0.8-inch factory lift, distinctive front and rear fascias, skid plates, 17-inch off-road aluminum wheels, aggressive tires and red tow hooks.
When compared to its rivals the like the Nissan Juke, Mini Countryman, Mini Paceman and the Holden Trax the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk will be the only compact SUV to offer real off road ability.
