www.carshowroom.com.au will be sampling the all-new Honda HR-V compact SUV at the national media launch in a couple of weeks but ahead of that Honda has confirmed its good-looking compact SUV will be very sharply price starting from $24,990.
Exclusively front-wheel-drive, the all-new Honda HR-V is powered by Honda’s 105kW/172Nm 1.8-litre i-VTEC petrol engine driving through a CVT automatic transmission.
Specifications sound impressive with model-specific inclusions such as active city braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning and forward collision warning.
Honda says its ‘Magic Seat’ system and a reversing camera are both standard across the HR-V range.
Entry-grade Honda HR-V VTi ($24,990) rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.
Stepping-up to the mid-grade VTi-S ($27,990) brings 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and DRLs, front fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and roof rails.
Range-topping VTi-L ($32,990) goes further with sports 17-inch alloys, steering wheel paddle shifters for manual gear changes, a panoramic glass sunroof and leather trim.
Then there’s VTi-L with ADAS ($33,990) which gets high-tech extras such as forward collision warning and lane departure warning.
Check back with www.carshowroom.com.au in a couple of weeks for the full Honda HR-V story and our driving impressions.
