Honda will join the avalanche of automotive brands flooding the compact SUV segment when the all-new HR-V arrives early next year.
It’s a return of sorts for Honda as the original 1.6-litre HR-V was sold in Australia from 1999 to 2001.
In fact that previous Honda HR-V was a very competent compact SUV and sold well in an era before compact SUVs were as popular as today – racking-up handy sales in excess of 5,000 units.
The all-new Honda HR-V will use the Jazz platform and will sell alongside Honda’s massively popular CR-V.
