Three years after its debut, the Optima still turns heads thanks to its head-turning Peter Schreyer-penned styling and, priced from $30,990 represents great buying in the mid-sized sedan segment.
For the 2014 update, Kia called-in its Frankfurt, Germany based styling team to deliver new front and rear fascias and a new grille as well as a new aero-shaped bootlid and rear diffuser. There’s also sharp-looking new fog lights (four LED lights), new LED DRLs, new HID headlights and new-design 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, look for new, more supportive seats (heated and ventilated in the front), a new steering wheel and new satin finish/high-gloss black highlights.
Front and rear parking sensors are now standard across the lineup and Blind Spot Detection has been added.
