No word yet from Jaguar Australia but in the UK details have been released on the 2014 XJ sedan.
Apart from the new high-performance XJR, the highlights are enhanced interior luxury, adoption of the eight-speed automatic transmission for all models and extra rear space in long wheelbase models.
New material choices inside include Bond grain, soft grain and semi-aniline leather and veneers in Piano Black, Carbon Fibre, Gloss Burr walnut and Satin Rosewood.
Long wheelbase models enjoy optional aircraft-style individual rear seats with a massage function, extra headroom and fold-out table in the rear of the front seats.
There’s also soft-closing doors, upgraded infotainment systems and some rear suspension fettling to improve rear seat comfort.
