Hyundai’s slick European i40 sedan and Tourer (wagon) benefit from across-the-range updates heading into the new year.
All Hyundai i40 models add front and rear parking sensors and the wagons score a cargo blind and safety net for the rear.
Range-topping Hyundai i40 Tourer Premium gains a power tailgate.
In addition, Premium and mid-spec Elite models are boosted by a new satellite navigation/rear-view camera system with a seven-inch colour touch-screen. The navigation system employs NAVTEQ maps and SUNA live traffic updates.
A Car Showroom favourite mid-sizer, the Hyundai i40 is the work of the Korean giant’s European design studio in Russelsheim, Germany.
Power comes from either a 130kW/214Nm 2.0-litre direct-injection petrol engine or a 100kW/330Nm 1.7-litre turbo-diesel.
