Hyundai challenges sister company Kia in North America with the all-new Elantra Coupe set to battle for sales with the Kia Cerato Koop.
The handsomely-styled two-door Hyundai Elantra has been unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show but a local introduction has been ruled-out by Hyundai Australia.
Designed at Hyundai’s North American styling studios in California, the Elantra Coupe is powered by Hyundai’s 1.8-litre ‘Nu’ petrol engine with 110kW/178Nm and driving through six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
Its modern wedge-shaped silhouette with the hallmark Hyundai front end, nice 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and highlight black aerodynamic features including a rear diffuser.
